What Would Jesus Do?

A Visionary Dream

Such a great marketing gimmick, eh?  I mean, for a question with such an easy answer:

But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.  For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. – John 5:17, 19-20

In case you didn’t understand, Jesus said that in every circumstance He looked to see what the Father was doing and that’s what He did.  In fact, Jesus stated five more times that what He was about was doing the will of the Father1.

He was our example, and He said that while He was here on Earth He was looking to the Father to do what the Father was doing.

Would he blog? Actually I think that is an interesting question. The comments would be pretty hard to moderate I image – due to the volume of them.

@Linsay: That’s probably very true. But I highly doubt He’d actually do it. We don’t have any record that He actually wrote anything Himself, choosing to work through people.

Or, if you look at it a different way, I guess you could say that He’s blogging now through the Holy Spirit.

‘Course nothing on this blog is infallible. :)
