Follow Up: Senate Votes to Fund Fence

After reporting that the Senate authorized the fence, but refused to fund it, they finally switched courses and authorized funding (94-3, in fact).

You see how you have an influence on how your representatives vote– but only in great quantity? It was such an absurd action– not to fund the fence– that it had to be rectified. This is only one small part of an overall solution. We need to both seal our borders– keeping new people from coming in– and the deal with those already here.
