Tracking the Time
Time. It seems immutable. We’re all clock watchers when we’re bored, and we all wonder where it went when we’re doing something we like.
Time is the way that we know when to meet and where to be. It keeps track of how long we’ve been on this earth, and it’s used to figure out how much we should be paid.

Managing Time
There are only so many hours in the day. Trying to have a full time job, blog, and raise a family means that I have to make efficient use of that time. So, I try to write for the blog when the kids aren’t awake, pay attention to work items when I’m at work, and give my family the time they deserve.
When it comes to side projects—whether it’s developing my ad manager, plugins, or setting up sites, it’s important that I keep track of time so that I know how much to bill, how much time a project took, and whether or not something justifies the extra time.
