From the way that this issue is painted, Homosexuality is the worst sin to befall mankind.  I made the argument in a discussion of the McDonald’s boycott that there are many sins that God hates, and that we should make sure that we major on what God considers sin.

So, what about this sin?

Let’s Look at Romans

Perry believes that God exaggerates the importance of this sin based on Romans 1:27.  What’s interesting about this passage is that it is a progression.

Happy CoupleI was reading Mona Charen’s latest article today, and something struck me as interesting. She was discussing the school in Maryland and their sex ed class. The curriculum seemed to have a pretty glaring contradiction, and on this note we’ll end our series looking at the Biblical Role of the Sexes.

Early in the article, the curriculum states that “[M]ost experts in the field have concluded that sexual orientation is not a choice”. Later on, it also states regarding the transgender movement that “biology is not destiny”. For sake of argument, doesn’t that mean that just because one was “born a homosexual” does not mean that they have to be one?

One Man, One Woman for Life

Happy CoupleProper sexual relations was always meant to be between one man and one woman for life. Anyone who doubts this just has to do a quick reading of the Levitical law to see that relations outside of this were considered an abomination to the Lord.

An argument has been made that the Old Testament, particularly the account of Sodom and Gomorrah, isn’t necessarily about homosexuality. They attribute this to a bunch of things. For starters, they say that it must be okay to rape young virgins– since Lot offers his daughters to the men outside of the house.
