Berlin, Connecticut - A 26-year-old special education teacher's aide, Danielle Grasso, was escorted from Berlin High School on Thursday and arrested for second-degree sexual assault. Grasso allegedly was involved in a months-long relationship with an 18-year-old student. An investigation was initiated when a group of students were overheard gossiping about the relationship at a local restaurant. Grasso was booked with bond initially set at $50,000. At her arraignment yesterday, her bond was reduced to $25,000 and a court hearing was scheduled for January 17.
