I found this video via Reddit, and was amazed that there was someone on television that saw Lincoln’s death. Wow.

I don’t know what kind of pizza is your favorite. For me, I tend to like one of two types of pizza: Pepperoni or Hawaiian.
This weekend, I tried out the Simply Inspired Hawaiian pizza from Frescetta– and it was definitely an experience!
What I really liked about this pizza was the toppings. Having tried different pizzas, I noticed right away that the toppings looked delicious. The pineapple looked appealing and the helping of ham was terrific. I’m sure that it’s because of the FRESCH-TASTE SEAL™. Their packing locks in the vibrant flavors, while using 30% less packaging material.
The taste of these two toppings was tremendous– they really tasted good.
I didn’t know if I’d like the bar-b-que sauce that was on the pizza, as usually I just have the two toppings, but the taste was zesty, and as I was sharing the pizza with two of my children, they loved it as well.
What did surprise me though was the crust. I think that I’ve had to many thicker crust pizzas, so I wasn’t quite ready for the fact that this was thin and crispy. In fact, the crust was the thickness of a cracker– though it’s stated right on the packaging that it is thin and crispy.
The other thing that didn’t go so well on our particular pizza was that the cheese was not evenly distributed, so that it didn’t cover the whole pizza. This could have been because we cooked it on a cooking sheet instead of right on the oven racks like the instructions stated.
All in all, I think it was an enjoyable pizza, and the toppings were fabulous. And here’s the best part– you get a chance to try one of FRESCHETTA® Simply…Inspired™ Pizzas for free!

My oldest son has gotten pretty good at looking to see how his brother’s piece will take his, and only moving into "safe" locations. However, he and Congress both have a similar problem with strategy– they only look at the next move.
The Obama Administration and Congress have decided that they must do everything in their power to make you spend money, but not your money– they want you to spend someone else’s money! They just want capital in the system.

In 1776, things were much different than they are today. America was made up of a primarily Christian people– some of them slaves, some prisoners, some outcasts and some that were looking for a fresh start. Whether it was Anglican, Puritan, Catholic or Quaker, the nation was made up of people with a common set of moral guideposts, a common mental framework, and a concept of a common Creator God.
That’s what you see flowing through the Declaration of Independence, as a people that held to the Bible’s demands that you submit to the governing authority over you grappled with when and if that governing authority could cross a line where obedience was no longer required– indeed, that revolution could be pursued.
I have always considered myself a Conservative. I’m a person that believes in the Bible, and the moral code contained in it. I know that disobeying the truths found in it will result in judgement. Just like economics, government and the seasons, there is a cycle of morality at work, in which a country that chooses its own way will be judged.
I believe it’s clear based on Romans 1.
So, it’s odd that I find myself being more comfortable with those that are Libertarian than Conservative.

There are some interesting quotes floating around the Internet I thought I would share:
A Page From History
Norman Mattoon Thomas (November 20, 1884 to December 19, 1968) was a leading American socialist, pacifist, and six-time presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America.
The Socialist Party candidate for President of the U.S., Norman Thomas, said this in a 1944 speech: “The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of “liberalism,” they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.! ” He went on to say: “I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democrat Party has adopted our platform.”

“The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.”
~~Margaret Thatcher~~
The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who are not.
- Thomas Jefferson
Friend, you cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. And what one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government can’t give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody. And when half of the people get the idea they don’t have to work because the other half’s going to take care of them, and when the other half get the idea it does no good to work because somebody’s going to get what I work for. That, dear friend, is about the end of any nation.
- Adrian Rodgers
It never fails. You’ve been plugging away, working on your budget, writing that blog post, or just surfing when your operating system claims that it’s installed some new software and you need to reboot your system for it to take effect. Or an application stops responding, and you find that the best thing that you can do is to end the offending program and start fresh.
The interesting thing is, despite how much we don’t like restarting an application or an operating system, it’s perfectly natural. You see, all systems have built within them the need for change, because we are far from perfect.
Whether it’s your computer, the seasons, or the economy, all of these complicated systems occasionally need a reboot, and our current situation is no different.
