This workbook—albeit the previous version—has change my way of looking at church and how to “do church”.  The fundamental thrust that was different for me was thinking of God being at work and joining Him rather than “doing something for God.”  It’s radical in its simplicity.

Paul Tripp’s book takes you into the mind of your child and confronts you as a parent—your kids are a lot like what you’re modeling for them.

Throughout this book, Tripp gives some practical illustrations and encourages you to keep up good communication with your children

It was this set of books by Tozer that first got me hooked on the man’s writing.  The first book was a text book for a leadership class I was taking at Bob Jones University.

I liked the first book so much that I picked up the second and made reading him part of my daily devotions.

On my way back from college I picked up the paperback of this best selling series and was hooked until book 12—before they started doing the prequels.

Whether you want to start with book one, or the prequels, that’s up to you.  It’s good adventure regardless of your interpretation of the end times.
