I’ve always been good at essays.  Once, I wrote a paper on the Cause and Effect of writing a Cause and Effect Paper—that one didn’t get as good a grade as some of the others.

Nothing shows the amount of knowledge you have on a subject, or how well that you’re able to string a lot of words into the longest sentences possible as an essay.

However, today there are many places out there that you can pay for essays to be written for you.  There are people that will do the research and you can just read what they’ve found.

Of course, this doesn’t teach you much, unless you use the essay for a comparison essay, or one that you use to review your own work.  There’s nothing wrong with working on an essay and then comparing it to someone else’s work—that is, in essence, what you are doing when you get information from an encyclopedia or the Internet.

What kinds of projects have you worked on where you could have benefited from a little extra help writing an essay or doing the research for it?  For me, I could use a lot of help in writing articles/essays for blogs!

However, I could see the benefit of seeing a professionally written essay to look at to see how it’s done.  Like I said, however, I would make sure the essay was my own.  There’s little benefit in not doing it yourself.
