I don’t know what kind of pizza is your favorite. For me, I tend to like one of two types of pizza: Pepperoni or Hawaiian.
This weekend, I tried out the Simply Inspired Hawaiian pizza from Frescetta– and it was definitely an experience!
What I really liked about this pizza was the toppings. Having tried different pizzas, I noticed right away that the toppings looked delicious. The pineapple looked appealing and the helping of ham was terrific. I’m sure that it’s because of the FRESCH-TASTE SEAL™. Their packing locks in the vibrant flavors, while using 30% less packaging material.
The taste of these two toppings was tremendous– they really tasted good.
I didn’t know if I’d like the bar-b-que sauce that was on the pizza, as usually I just have the two toppings, but the taste was zesty, and as I was sharing the pizza with two of my children, they loved it as well.
What did surprise me though was the crust. I think that I’ve had to many thicker crust pizzas, so I wasn’t quite ready for the fact that this was thin and crispy. In fact, the crust was the thickness of a cracker– though it’s stated right on the packaging that it is thin and crispy.
The other thing that didn’t go so well on our particular pizza was that the cheese was not evenly distributed, so that it didn’t cover the whole pizza. This could have been because we cooked it on a cooking sheet instead of right on the oven racks like the instructions stated.
All in all, I think it was an enjoyable pizza, and the toppings were fabulous. And here’s the best part– you get a chance to try one of FRESCHETTA® Simply…Inspired™ Pizzas for free!
