Every time I have to renew my driver’s license I have the option of doing it online, doing it by the mail or doing it at the DMV. I’m not sure if the stereotype is still true about how long it takes to wait in DMV lines, but I don’t care to test it either. My time is more valuable to me than to sit in a line to be called to look at a chart at the DMV.
Plus the last time I did it at the DMV they thought I needed to wear glasses to drive.
My optometrist thought differently—and when I went for a vision test, I was well within the limits of being legal to drive, though they did prescribe eyeglasses for me to wear at night for long distances.
And each time I try to find the cheapest glasses that I can find so that it’s covered by my insurance and yet does the job well.
Zenni Optical is a great place to get eyeglasses if you’re trying to save yourself some money. I mean, the normal pair of glasses might cost me $100 at the optometrist, but at Zenni Optical you can get glasses for as little as $8.00 a pair. That’s no typo, either.
Everything from bifocals to fashionable frames are available. So why don’t you go check them out? Everyone that needs even simple vision correction could use an extra pair—right?
