Every modern politician that runs for the Presidency has some topic that just will not go away. Sen. John Kerry had the “Swift Boat Veterans for Truth”. President George W. Bush carried around the Supreme Court settling whether Florida could do its recounts. And President Obama has the birth certificate fiasco.
This video is amusing, only in that we’re going to continue to hear things that could break either way until he’s no longer President:
The quote to listen for takes place around 42 seconds in where First Lady, Michelle Obama says:
We took our trip to Africa and visited his home country in Kenya.
Again, I don’t think it matters where he was born at this point—other than the academic question. And I’m not surprised that this thing continues to have the legs it does.
