The Lights—They Have Arrived

Miracle

Light.  Without it, we cannot see.  Profound, I know.

The truth is that light is indispensible.  We need it in order to make out objects, to recognize things—especially at night.

Where there has been technology, there has been light.  Whether it’s oil and candles or the led lighting of today, we’ve always had a desire to see things when the natural light is fading.

Speaking of lighting, one of the neatest things about that technology is led lighting—the fact that we can get about the same amount of light out of a lot less energy.

Today was the first day that I saw Halloween lights out—and I know that it means that Christmas lights will soon be next.  For me, I haven’t updated my lights yet, but I’m definitely interested in getting lighting that will be cheap as well as pretty.

Do you have any plans for decorations?  Do you use led lighting?

The other thing that’s useful about led lighting is that, when placed together, you can have a really powerful light at a fraction of the cost.  My father received a flashlight powered by led lights, and I was surprised at how much power he could get out of it.

I’m not saying that you should throw away working lights, but when you have the opportunity to purchase something new, you should look into it!
