Having the talent to do website design is not something that comes easily.  For one thing, you have to have the graphic arts gene—not something that I have!  You can’t just “know what you like” but you have to know how to visualize it, and how to get it to look just right.

Those companies that specialize in web design can name good prices, because of their talent—their gift as it were.  Many have chosen to do it from home, but the bigger names that can produce good results have a leg up on the competition.

So, make sure to do your research before finding a company or designer.  You want to make sure that you check out their galleries and their testimonials.  Your web presence is something important—it’s your brand.

Treat it as important as it is.
