Traffic has been good on this blog, and another. Up until my recent job change, things were getting so good in fact that I was beginning to contemplate moving the whole blogging thing to another web host. Now, it’s true that I get a great deal from the guys that I’m working with now, but you can’t beat some of the deals that you can get on website hosting that are out there today.
The trickiest thing about website hosting isn’t necessarily the price—though that’s important. It’s actually the service. It’s also the reliability.
You want a web host that is cheap, that is easy to get a hold of, and you want one that doesn’t have a big spam problem—both receiving spam and having your messages marked as spam. If you can get these things, than you have found a good host indeed.
Fortunately there are sites out there that list all sorts of things in all sorts of categories (like Best Blog Hosting) and they will rate sites in all sorts of categories so that you can make the most informed decisions.
Because when it comes to something like your blog—where you’re spending your time and energy to write contact and interact with your readers—it’s important that you chose the right host.
