There are two times in a lady’s life where it’s hard to be modest. One of them is when they are in a formal. The other is when they’re pregnant.
Why? Because today’s maternity clothes tend to draw attention to something that needs no attention drawn to it—your ever expanding belly.
While I’m not one to say that a lady should be ashamed of the baby growing inside her, at the same time pregnancy brings new challenge to being modest. Specifically in the areas of tightness and coverage.
In order to make sure that you’re modest in your next pregnancy, take some time to shop around. There are many shops that have modest clothing, or clothing that’s stylish and that are not that expensive.
Make sure you’re happy with the way you look even when that next one is on the way!
I do agree that many of today’s fashions are not what you would call modest. However, I wonder why a Christian website needs to draw attention to this. And why, oh why, it should also be promoting blatant advertising for clothes which reveal a bare, expanding belly?

I link to news items that talk about points I don’t agree with, and this is one of those cases that there are some things that may be appropriate at the site, the point of the post is to say that there are challenges and to illustrate it with a link.
I guess I rely on the reader to know that I do not support everything on sale at a linked store.
