Children are special-- they need a lot of work, time and love, but so does your spouse.  That&#039;s why there are so many passages talking about the relationship between husband and wife, and relatively few about parenting.</description>

		<description>I think purity of the heart is something that must be pursued throughout the lifetime in order to keep a marriage strong.  Kids are wonderful and amazing and one of the greatest sources of joy God has given us, but once they grow up and move out, where will the relationship be if there was no connection other than as parents?  I&#039;m so grateful for my hubby, who daily encourages me in my walk with God and is always eager to share what he&#039;s learning.  It&#039;s a bond that goes above and beyond that of being a co-parent and I know it&#039;s one that will remain strong long after my little sweetie has grown up and gone to a family of her own.

Thank you for your kind comments on my blog.  I really enjoy your blog too and look forward to your entries.  We need more folks willing to take a stand for God within our society!
