Internet Deals
One of the things that I always seem to forget is that in the age of the Internet, there are ways to save money on everything.
Take, for instance, coupons. I’m signed up via e-mail to a few places that I’ve purchased products with in the past. Some of them send me these coupon codes all the time (it seems) trying to get me to spend money.
It wasn’t until just a little while ago that it actually dawned on me. If I’m on these lists, certainly other people are as well. Sure enough, if you dig around a little bit you’ll find sites listing coupons, sites that publish codes with RSS feeds, and sites that offer you deals on everything from groceries to Laptop computers.
The trick is to make sure that you remember that there are sites out there. Usually I find that my purchase pattern is that I login to a site that I think has the product that I want, I find the product, I whip out my debit card and buy the product.
If I would spend just a little more time I would be saving a bunch of money because of coupons, deals, or upcoming deals. But that would require me to change my pattern. Maybe you can learn from my mistakes?
