What To Do With all those Digital Photos

Little girl's talk

Being a parent in the 21st century means having some kind of

digital camera—whether it’s on your phone, a regular point and shoot, or something that you’ve taken out a second mortgage on—and you’ve snapped tons of pictures1.

You’ve justified taking all these pictures because you can delete them if you don’t like them, but it’s just as easy to keep them lying around on your hard drive for whenever you get around to scrapbooking them or finding some other use for them.  Right now they make a good screen saver!

Why not take some of these photos and make cards out of them?

Christmas Photo Card Well, how about taking some of those pictures of the family and making a card out of them?  You can simply and easily create Photo Card Stationary out of your digital photos, have them printed, and then send your greetings out to family members on them.

Of course, the traditional time to do this would be Christmas, but other creative times would be during the summer with ice cream all over the place, or any time if you’re sending them to people that are shut in or far away—there are plenty of occasions.

And doing this online instead of at the store makes this experience a whole lot easier.  All you have to do is choose a design, upload your art work, edit the verse to say something about the picture, personalize it and off you go!  You can even place your return address on a custom set of envelopes, and give any special instructions.

Imagine being able to send out cards any time of the year that make the family smile as they remember or enjoy captured moments.  Much better than sitting around your hard drive gathering dust-bytes.
