It's funny to read the early history of our country and see that the House and Senate were practically expected to pick the President, and electors were supposed to express their conscience more. Then again, there also wasn't direct election of Senators either, and I'm sure the House turned over more than this gerrymandered mess we have now. The two party system is long past it's expiration date. Oh, and I had no idea Bob Barr was running on the libertarian ticket.
