It could be the hours I keep.  It could be an addiction.  For whatever reason, I usually drink a soda in the afternoon.  And going to the vending machine can get expensive.

That’s why, when I remember, I pick up a 12-pack at Wal-Mart when we shop, but I caught a flyer from CVS the other day, and I’ve been wanting to test out ECBs¹ for some time.  So, I did it today.  I purchased 4 12-packs of Coke for $12.  In return, they gave me $3 in ECBs.  They expire on 6-19-2008, but it felt neat to get so much soda (enough to take me into July without having to get any more!)

Now the question is, what do I do with expiring ECBs, and what do I buy next?  Are the deals actually deals when you compare it to Wal-Mart or other Drug Stores?  Is this a new addiction?
