Is It All Over For Clinton?

hillary_0508 Don’t tell Hillary Clinton, but both John McCain and Barak Obama have decided it’s time to move on, regardless of whether she will continue to campaign in the last few states or concede.

What we should be seeing in the next few weeks is more of the media and Democratic leadership attempting to anoint Sen. Obama, and trying to push Sen. Clinton out of the spotlight.  Not that she will go quietly.

What’s interesting is that there are really only two candidates left, and two people that refuse to leave.  Mrs. Clinton on the Democrat side, and Dr. Ron Paul on the Republican side.  With all of the talk of Mrs. Clinton potentially raising a ruckus at Denver, the Libertarians who back Rep. Paul are actively attempting to do just that:

In the last three months, Paul’s forces, who donated $34.5 million to his White House effort and upward of a million total votes, have, as The Ticket has noted, been fighting a series of guerrilla battles with party establishment officials at county and state conventions from Washington and Missouri to Maine and Mississippi. Their goal: to take control of local committees, boost their delegate totals and influence platform debates.

Whether they succeed will be interesting to watch and see what Vox Day says should Mr. Obama become the Democrat nominee.
