If good or bad is defined on a sliding scale (the thing that is good today may be bad tomorrow and vice versa) than it doesn't matter the motivational aspect of the thing (I should be good because I want good back, and if I'm bad I'll be punished) because there is no constant basis and you will have to continually wonder whether the thing you're contemplating doing is right or wrong.

Your statement totally misses the point, but that's a common theme in your comments.</description>

There you go again with your religious assertions.  I still say that going to jail if you are caught is a good basis for not doing bad things.  And I don't think it's fair for Christians to forbid others from "doing unto others what you would have them do unto you".  And that seems like a pretty good reason for doing good things.</description>
