The Beginning of the End

Fiction Header

Believe it or not, we’re coming to the end of the first story over at my Fiction blog.  It’s taken almost the whole year, but Adam, Tricia, Laura and Noah will finish up their story in the future and the present in the first "book" I wrote The Mystery of the Purloined Palette

I used to say that you could learn a lot about me and how I thought from these books– because they were mostly my inner dreams/ramblings.  My style of writing at the time was almost to go to sleep dreaming about the characters or to think about what they would think of next.

Not exactly the best way to come up with a story– but I was a teen.  There are a lot of things that would be different if this story was written now, but it will have to suffice.

There are actually two more installments of this series of stories, but I’m not sure what to do with them.  I could make them free ebooks, but I’m not sure my whole experiment in printing my stories worked.  There weren’t a lot of visitors, to be sure, and not a lot of conversation.  Perhaps now that it’s all out there I should write some posts about some lessons learned from it with links to the story or something.

Write them here, or there?  I really don’t know if that blog will ever go anywhere except to be a fiction playground.

Actually, I do have some interest in someone playing some writing tennis, so maybe I’ll try that for a little while and see where that goes.  I do have the other two stories if anyone is interested in seeing where these characters end up.

And by the way, another interesting fact is that the day that the series ends is my birthday– what a wild way to end it.
