I always like to highlight when a celebrity does something right, or something praiseworthy. Especially in the area of marriage and family. Jennifer Lopez is expecting twins with her husband Marc Antony– so congratulations!

The effect of the Internet has yet to be realized. One of the things that I’ve found is that for every bit of progress we make we create more reasons to isolate ourselves. Whether it’s online shopping, video games, television, etc., we are slowly losing contact with those around us. And they say that homeschooling hinders socialization! What about people that spend all their time IM’ing and no time talking. That, to me, is the danger of things like Facebook– and how it can ruin your life. Because, on the Internet, pretty much nothing’s a secret, and it’s not enough to know how to communicate with people in person, you now have to survive the social networking gauntlet.
