After getting the girl to fall in love with this nonexistent boy, the middle-aged woman turned mean, argued, and said “The world would be a better place without you.” The girl immediately committed suicide. Has the woman committed a crime?

No spanks

Jill Stanek brings our attention to the hypocrisy in the no-spanking movement. From the site:

Massachusetts is considering a possible ban on spanking where parents wouldn’t be allowed to spank children under 18. Yup, the people’s republic of Massachusetts is ok with abortion, but don’t spank your kid, that would be just wrong.

However, I would still allow spanking, even if they banned abortion.
