One Way to Support the Troops

flag Thanksgiving, Christmas, Birthdays– these are all hard days to be a soldier away from home.  These are the times that ones want to be with family.  Times immortalized in songs like “I’ll be home for Christmas.”

This time of year is the best time that we can show our love and support for those that fight that we may have our freedom.

The Gallery Collection, a leading mail order publisher of premium quality personalized greeting cards specializing in Corporate Holiday Cards, has decided to pitch in and donate a greeting card for every soldier as well as a blank card and envelope for them to write to someone back home.  The cards will be part of a care package that “Soldiers’ Angels” will be sending to troops overseas.

By going to the Soldiers’ Angels site you can sign up to adopt a soldier, submit a soldier, or get all the different information you need to help those men and women in our armed forces this holiday season.

So, make a difference in someone’s life– someone that’s fighting for your freedom.  Say a prayer for them, think about them, sponsor one through or Soldiers’ Angels.  They will thank you for it.

I’ve already done this, but through another company. Our high school is also sending a bunch of cards over as well. There are certainly ways to support the troops while railing against our less-than-genious president.

We did something similar around Halloween, so the letters would arrive close to Christmas!
