For me, it's not that concerning to have a difference of opinion about who makes the best nominee at this stage-- I mean, we're still in the primaries, a time where we should pick a candidate to put forward that best reflects our beliefs and views. (Disclaimer: I'm registered conservative, and do not vote in Republican primaries in my state.) At this point it is neither a given that Hillary or Rudy will be the nominees next summer. There are any of a number of things that could happen between now and then.

However, it is important that people know where they stand, what is negotiable and not negotiable, and it's not bad to set out some rules and see where it goes. This is definitely the place for people to express a pro-life stance and speak against a candidate in your own party whereas next summer/fall it would not be.

As a diehard liberal (practically a socialist), I'm absolutely loving the in-fighting amongst the repub types. Will we have to change the title to "Hail to the Chieftess"?????

Nope. I won't vote for Giuliani, Romney, McCain, or Thompson. Mike Huckabee is my pick, and if he doesn't get the Rep. nomination, I'll not vote for the Rep. or the Dem. nominee in the election.

I agree with Jenna. My husband and I won't vote for him either. Yes, Hillary would be horrible. But even more horrible would be for Christians to get behind a pro-abortion candidate. If we do that once, the Republicans will continue to put up candidates that are liberal on social issues.

By taking a stand against Guliani, we may have to deal with 4 years of Hillary, but hopefully it will wake up the Republican party and help them get back to their conservative roots.

My husband and I wouldn't vote for him. We would rather vote for an independant runner. The way that I figure, if that means that socialist Clinton wins, then maybe the republican party will realize the error of it's ways and return to being actual republican instead of democrats with red ties on.
