Adam Schofield (star of The Mystery of the Purloined Palette) is here to talk to you today about the importance of having the right materials when you’re going about trying to do work yourself.

MInTheGap: So, Adam, tell me about the remodeling that you had to do recently to your office?

Adam: Well, first, MIn, I’d like to say thank you for taking the time to write about my adventures.  I was pretty sure that I’d been all but forgotten, but these stories are bringing back the memories.  Yes, it was an interesting time when I first got my office– it was a mess.  Not only was there a lot of drywall to repair, but Tricia ended up getting a whole pail of paint splattered all over here, that was a mess.

MInTheGap: No Kidding!  I mean– what did you end up doing?

Adam: Well, first, I ended up getting her a whole new set of clothes– but the cleanup was a mess and we had to do the job all over again.

MInTheGap: Well, what would you do if I told you that you could have gone to DoItYourself.com and picked up one of their DVD’s and watched how to do it and it would have saved you the time and aggravation?

Adam: I would say that, as the writer of my story, you could have easily saved me that embarrassment by having me go to that site and pick up the DVD.  Since you didn’t, I think you’re just out to get me– so this interview is over!
